The exquisite red fir honey of MELODIA is harvested from May until mid-June at the pristine conifer forests of Pindus’ mountain range, in mountainous Evrytania at an altitude of 1,300 meters. It is an alpine scenery with very old and big fir trees. It is the honey with the less natural sugars and the most balanced taste. It is not too sweet. It can be consumed with moderation even from people who need to follow a diet low in calories and in sugar. The low moisture content (15%) gives it an amazing, velvety and creamy texture. Its fine character is highlighted perfectly with fresh baked soda bread and butter.
